Temptation Monthly All Breed Show - temp. closed

Rules and Regulations
• No reuse of old entries. If entry was never judged, please alter to fit our show and you may enter it here. Backgrounds must be new each month, but can be reused during one single show period (monthly show, so BGs may be reused during that month, but the next month, a new BG must be created).
• Tracing and Gridding are allowed, however please credit reference/state you've traced.
• No registration required (therefore no registration number).
• No horses younger than 3 years old in undersaddle classes. All breeds allowed to enter, no magical powers may be used. *EXCEPTION: 2 years olds allowed in flat racing only.
• Riders must be at least 5 years of age. Riders under 18 must wear helmets. For events such as racing, please use discretion and don't put a kid on a horse, it's just not smart. Safety please!
• Horse must be shown. Rider/Handler is required in all undersaddle classes.
• Story not required but will gain extra points.
• Correct tack required for class, if you have questions, please ask. Tack should be used properly.
• Spurs and Whips are allowed, but are frowned upon. Any abusive actions will result in DQ.
• Riders and Handlers should be wearing long pants or breeches, and an appropriate top. Boots required, hat and belt are not. Helmets required for riders under 18. Inappropriate clothing (shirts showing too much skin, wearing shorts, ect) will receive penalty.
• Extras: You can complete 1 training image per class. Will be judged on quality on scale of 1-5. Quality factors include amount of animal shown, rider shown, shading, background, short story and if necessary, an obstacle for that class. Training must be made specifically for this show and that class.
• Multiple entries are allowed on one sheet so long as they are clearly separated, labeled, and do not run over multiple months of our show (ie, only 1 entry for per class per sheet per month for our show). Stories must be made separately still for each class entry.
• Backgrounds that are photo bgs, if correct, will receive correct plain score. Incorrect photo bgs will still receive penalty.
• Please include the following into the entry's comment area:
Stable/Ranch Name, Horse Name, Rider Name, Horse Age, Rider Age, and a Link to this Show and class entering. If this info isn't in there, entry will not be judged and will recieve DQ, if submitted at least 2 days before deadline, I will try to check to make sure it's all correct. ** Please note, this show is judged on a monthly basis. If for some reason, no judge is able to judge the previous month, you are still able to enter for the next month. Weather and setting will be judged for your entry as they were written in the show journal when you submitted your entry.

• Temptation Monthly Stakes (1 Mile left-handed dirt track *outdoors, track has white rail, inside of track is mostly an open pasture *All Breeds may enter, no powers may be used. $100,000 Purse)
• Temptation Monthly Stock Horse Sprint (440 yards left-handed dirt track *outdoors, white rail, infield is mostly open pasture; Appendix (Stock x TB) Racers may enter the stock horse sprint *Restricted to QH, Paint, App & those breeds when mixed with TB $100,000 Purse)
• Appendix Showcase (Appendix QHs only, any discipline)
-English Classes
• Hunter Under Saddle (walk, trot, canter, hand gallop)
• Hunter Over Fences (you design course)
• Show Jumping (you design course)
• Dressage (any level)
• Cross Country (design own course, *outdoors)
• Single Driving (please specify what type, be it pleasure, country pleasure, show pleasure, fine harness, etc. if you don’t know which one is for which breed please do your research!)

-Western Classes
• Western Pleasure (walk, jog, lope, judging line-up)
• Trail (TM Trail Pattern 1 - June 2020)
• Barrel Racing (barrel must be pictured)
• Reining (circles, slides, spins, rollbacks and lead changes accepted)
• Cutting (you design cattle, 20 head in arena)
• Breakaway Roping (you design calf)

-- Rider Required in Class, yet no rider, disqualified
-- Less than Half Shown, +5 points OR Full Body, +10 points
-- Not Colored, +0 points OR Flat Colored, +5 points OR Shaded, +10 points

**** Lineless will be scored as Undetailed Lineless +5 Points or Detailed Lineless +10 Points in line categories.

Prizes:
• 1st Place - blue ribbon, trophy
• 2nd Place - red ribbon
• 3rd Place - yellow ribbon
• 4th+ Place - white ribbon
- Purse in Flat Races is as follows: 1st $60,000, 2nd $20,000, 3rd $10,000, 4th $5,000, 5th $2,000
• Grand Champion - trophy, ribbon. Must enter multiple classes, highest placing horse overall* ~Requires 10 total entries to be able to be won.
• Reserve Champion - trophy, ribbon. Must enter multiple classes, second highest placing horse overall* ~Requires 5 total entries to be able to be won.
In case of over 25 total entries: There will be a Mare Grand Champion and Stallion Grand Champion. Geldings/Infertile Stallions will fall into Stallions, Spayed/Sterilized/Infertile Mares into Mares. To win, mare/stallion must earn over 30 points in our placing points system. There will also be a Mare/Stallion Reserve Champion as well when 25 total entries are reached, and they must earn at least 20 points in our placing system. These would replace the regular Grand/Reserve Champion titles, in case of over 25 entries, those 2 titles become void, unless NO horses qualify for Mare/Stallion Grand/Reserve Champion titles. These extra opportunities to earn titles are because we have a lot of support and entrants, but at the same time, expectations will be raised to earn the titles.
• Champion Stable - trophy, ribbon. For stable with most placing points totaled from all horses entered. ~At least 2 stables must enter with at least 5 total entries.
*Placing Points: 1st Place=11 points, 2nd=9pts, 3rd=8pts, 4th=7pts, 5th=6pts, 6th+=1pt, DQ=0pts.
